What is the difference between a flanker, split end, and a slot receiver?
I don't actually know the difference for in the personnel packages

Split is more of a possession receiver, more physical too.
flanker end is imho more a fast guy, but can handle press and that.
Slot I think are like dñthe faster option for big plays etc.
I could be wrong.

Flanker generally plays outside and uses speed to get downfield, "big play" is a key rating. Typically plays on the same side of the field as the TE. The split end is usually more of a possession reciever, generally more of an all around receiver, can do it all. The slot comes on in place of the TE. Runs short routes, and uses "getting downfield" as a way to break open a big play, with YAC yardage.

Flanker- opposite TE. On line of scrimmage to have 7 guys on Line of scrimmage.. Size, Strength and speed are key due to being jammed at line of scrimmage. T.O. Randy Moss, Demarius Thomas, Julio Jones. Split End is off line of scrimmage and doesnt get bumped as easily. and usualy goes in motion. Antonio Brown, Julian Eldelman, Emmanuel Sanders,

FL lines up outside on the opposite side of the TE. SE lines up outside on the same side as the TE. Slot lines up more inside, and on either side of the TE. Both FL and Slot line up off the line of scrimmage while SE is on it (typically).
