Check your gameplan, it possible that these NT is better than other for your defense style.
Its so deep, and its good!
I also rather prefer the FOF7, was by far superior. You can't change starters here properly.
Absolutely.
I respect devs a lot here, but I dont understand why they complicate the things that are working and make versions worse than before (in some areas), in spite of improving what should be (interface, etc).
Honestly, I also prefer 2016 file for FOF7. I feel like I lost 25€ for something that Im starting to realize is worse —for me— than before, and by far. Im sad.
I am particularly miffed at the helpful comments on the bottom of the schedule screen, because for half of them I cannot find where that action is. Maybe a link from the "help" to the screen would be good?
One example would be "Sgn the free agents on your team" in FA stage 1. Where, how? I click on guys wih expired contracts, but for the live of me cannot figure out how to offer them a contract?
That and how do I change my packages? I want to replace my starting QB, but where do I design the packages?
I read the help file, which was very informative with regards to how plays are numbered etc, but no help on how to set up basic things like that!
I think the overwhelming positive reviews early on were fanboy material. At this point I am not at all sold on this game.
Yeah, I agree. Especially at a $30 price point, which is extremely steep when considering OOTP is currently $20, and worlds ahead in terms of UI and the visual representation of games.
Will just have to manually set a few positions and check the override box. To be fair, I still found myself doing that occasionally in previous versions of FOF anyway. So it's down to the in-game substitutions I suppose.
Will be happy to make do with the AI subs if it means I don't have to see all those very un-football-like tables again. Talk about immersion kill.
