Game won't start

As soon as I hit play, I see a flash of black and that is it. The game closes instantly.

Win10, i7-5700HQ, GeForce GTX 960M running two 1920x1080 screens, 16GB RAM

Sorry to hear that, game should work fine on those specs, assume you don't get any errors what so ever? if you feel up to it try opening pangemic_config.ini file in notepad which can be found in c:\users\[your username] and changing "Windowed" to equal 1, that will start the game in a window instead of fullscreen.
