Sorry the game is not living up to your expectations. However, everything in the trailer was most definitely produced with the Anomalies software.
Have you been pressing the "randomize" button? That should give you some variety of Anomaly types. However, certain things are also going to occur more rarely, and it may help to learn how to manually adjust certain settings if you want to achieve specific results.
There is a demo video called "Anomalies Demo" under the Guides section of the Community Hub. That will take you through some of the basic functions, and offers a great starting point for getting the most out of this game. It is using a slightly older version of Anomalies, but the basics are still the same.

Also, the trailer makes use of some of the newer shader effects, which you will find in the Options menu. Activate those by clicking in the radio button next to them. I should make another demo that mentions these features, as they were added after the last demo was made. Also, they are set to be fixed by default, but you can also allow them to be randomized by deselecting the radio button to the right of the sliders...
