I don't usually notice this sort of thing, but the font is annoying to read. Maybe i'm getting old. Weird as I like the art-style, but if I want to read information the font gets to me.

just watched a clip and yeah, this looks like something that'd give me a headache to read through

I only found the initial Adventure description text tough to read (the stuff that's sort of in black and white when you're choosing an Adventure initially). I haven't had issues reading anything else, and I have terrible vision and frustrating progressive lense eyeglasses. :)

It does sadly. The character / item information at the beginning is pretty bad, I didn't read through it. The narrative and story-telling part has a different font, much better.

Yeah just noticed that in the game play it seems to be okay, it's the stuff in the menus that are just way too hard to read through.

I was going to post something about this myself. The font is pretty horrible. Sure, it's readable, but we shouldn't have to focus so much and struggle to read words.

I am surprised this font made it through QA without anyone writing up issues about it.

Graphics is great BUT the text needs to just be crisp clear to read.

Any resolution to this awful font? I can't really read the smaller text. If not, it's gonna be a refund. :(

Text hasn't bothered me at all (1920X1080 rez). It's in line with most pixelized games that have text, including classic 1990s stuff they seem to emulate. Although maybe that's why Hyper Light Drifter had no text at all.

The only time the text bothers me is on the Adventure Choosing screen, where the font size is mushed into tiny point size. But that's something we look at for just a few seconds.

I actually never got past the adventure choosing screen because I'm afraid to use too much time and invalidate a refund. The text was so small it was causing me eyestrain. Are you sure that it's consistently larger elsewhere?

It is better in-game. I just like to read the story / character skills etc.

i like it. the font style adds flavor to the game. DEVS - if you give in to the naysayers and offer braille or some other selection, please make it an option.

I wouldn't want them to give in. Make the game how they want, it doesn't have to please everyone.

sure, the game is their creation but it is also their product. from a business standpoint (think sales=dollars) then yes, they do want to please everyone. sooo, if enough people complain they may just consider changing it. i hope they don't but if they do, i'd want the choice to keep it as it is now or change to something new.
