Sell Valuables Before Departing on Adventure?

I'm trying to buy the expanded jeep storage, but I'm short $100. I have $600 left over in my valuables from the end of the last adventure. It doesn't make sense to me that I can't sell before departing. If I can buy fuel, ammo, and supplies, why isn't there a merchant who wants to trade?

ya there should be access to the storage before you depart...and there should be a spot to empty the jeep into...seems quite like lots of room for improving

I believe there is a way to retrieve a piece of equipment placed in the valuables, if you do so right away.

I didn't realize until I was in combat and I had the wrong item equipped. It had been sold already.

Thanks for the input. Yeah the valuable bag is a bit a dangerous thing. There is an undo button but only if you see it right away. So handle right click actions with care.

Regarding homebase: The load out screen is what we see as your base of operation. I understand the demand for selling items there. We had some discussion in this regard already but with no good solution yet. We will look into it again and see if we can come up with a good idea. :)
