you mean stacking in Steam inventory? It's done automatically each time the game is running to avoid zillions of pages filled with the same item.

could you explain in more detail why stacking is bad? Does it prevent you doing some actions with items?

I mean, there are People (like me) who like to have as many items in their inventory as possible.
Others collect game or badges on Steam and I Like to have many items.
