yea, i feel after i started playing tetris on keyboard, controllers just felt too slow.
its not that the controllers them selves are too slow, just that i have better speed on a mechanical keyboard.
i built an arcadestick for tekken 7 over the last year. i put a Myoungshin Fanta lever as the stick
this stick is really good for tapping inputs. while i originaly only planned to use it for tekken i quickly grew attached to the control style and started using it in other games. pretty much any game that supports the arcadestick control scheme will have me playing the game with my arcadestick.
i rememebr watching thoes classic videos of tetris on thoes arcade cabnets, and i would think that it would be horrible to play the game with a joystick. I totally get it now. when you get past the learning curve of arcadesticks they are very quick and responsive.
i guess you could have some setup where grips move blocks left and right, triggers are hard and soft drop and then some other buttions are grab and item
prob the best bang for buck retro styled controller imo.
before the switch version of the controller came out i recomended it to many people.
even more so now with the slick black switch version

crazy how cheep it is when the build quality is so good
Good luck. This game is impossible on analog sticks.
Well, seems like I'm gonna test controllers support, gonna buy some random chinese controller for this.
If you have a DS3 controller laying around you might find this useful.

I’ve tried it myself and can confirm that it works like a charm. No need for any shady third party programs for it to work!
