Any Tetris Attack / Panel do Pon mode?
I'm wondering if this game has any mode similar to the Tetris Attack or Panel do Pon style. If not, does anyone know of an online multiplayer game in that style?

Nope, there’s no Panel de Pon like mode in this game, sorry. And I don’t think there’s any games like Panel de Pon with online multiplayer. You can always try NetPlay, though.

The Closest thing to Panal De Pon is Puyo Puyo in this game although it would be cool to have a Panal De Pon mode in this game.

No. Panel De Pon is completely different.

Agreed. The only similarity between PDP and Puyo are that the fields are both six columns wide.

That's it. Seriously.

Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack/Puzzle League is a Nintendo property, so unless SEGA does some puzzle game crossover with Nintendo, you're never going to see both Puyo Puyo and Panel de Pon in one game, and I imagine you'd probably see a Dr. Mario crossover before a Panel de Pon crossover anyway, unfortunately.

Speaking of which, a Panel de Pon/Puyo Puyo crossover game would arguably work better than the Tetris crossover we got, imo. To me, Puyo Puyo and Panel de Pon work off each other much more than Tetris does with Puyo.

Plus, they easily just use already established characters, rather than creating new characters that I really don’t like, lol. (I’m sorry, but it was so not worth dropping Lidelle and Ocean Prince in exchange for those Tetris characters, if I’m going to be honest)
unfortunately there's no such thing as tetris attack/puzzle league online through official channels.

however there is a discord server that organizes netplay of those games using emulation on the pc. this community also holds tournements and is active on devoloping their own stand alone clone games to this series which we want to feel as close and real as the original and play with as little latency over internet as possible.

i won't link anything here though. if anybody is interested feel free to add me on steam.

Panel de Pon has the same issue as Tetris where pieces come from the bottom and garbage comes from the top (well, that's technically the reverse of Tetris, but same thing really). But what would be an even bigger issue is the fact that death isn't instant in PdP. Imagine Puyo sending a 19 chain, only for PdP to stall as long as possible until they kill Puyo for it.
