How to play 2 player on one PC ?

Hi, I would like to play with a friend , can he use my keyboard while I use the mouse for example ? If not, is there a way to use a joystick for example , I tried to connect my generic one but the red multiplayer mod is not active in the game .

yes you can do both.

First off, in local multiplayer, the game will prompt you which you wish each player to use, keyboard or gamepad, some you can have one on the keyboard and one on gamepad.

You can also connect two controllers to play, i just ironically finished playing local multiplayer using two controllers, though these was using 2 xbox controllers but i imagine generic ones which work for single players should opperate in the same way, just switch player 1 and two to controller when setting the game up.

thanks, problem is , the local game is not highlighted in my game ... I can't select it ...

I think the game does not recognize my joystick , but can I play with keyboard for player 1 and mous for player 2 then ?

You can verify on Steam > settings > controller > general controller settings, that "generic gamepad configuration support" is enabled. Worked with mine

yeah , but it's not really a gamepad , it's a stick for airplane simulator games, I can't configure it , so ....

Then there is "x360ce", when you run x360ce from the game directory you should be able to emulate a 360 pad using your prefer controller, it has an automated setup, it just need to download the config for your controller, that it should recognize on its own.

Edit: there is a x64 and a x86 version, i dont know what puyo puyo runs as, but you can just try both.
