Keybind to rotate piece 180 degrees?
Hey all, just wondering if this game includes a key to rotate a piece 180 degrees in addition to the normal 90 degrees. Thanks!

Nope. I don't think Guideline Tetris/Super Rotation System has ever allowed 180s, and Puyo has never had that either (but ever since Tsu you can just press rotate twice and the piece will always flip even if it was in a tight space that prevented the 90).

Given how dumb SRS wallkicks already are, I can only imagine the chaos that would ensue if 180s were added to it.

So can I bind rotate to 2 different keys and double tap for a quick 180?

Technically, speaking you could since the game allows at most 3 keys you could bind for one move. Don't know if it'll work.

It's not possible to rotate a piece by 180.

As long as it doesn't make the rotation system even less "suspension of disbelief". T Spin Triples and things aren't at all the Tetris of the old days.

You can bind up to three keys to the same action, but they all map to the same "logical input" as far as the game is concerned. So, if you try to do a TGM-style "flick" 180, you have to lift your finger off of one key before you hit the other. Otherwise, if you're still pressing one key when you hit the other, the game will just see the same "logical input" as continuously held down and not do anything new.

Since you have to be careful about not having both keys pressed at the same time, I'd recommend just double tapping one key instead.

That's the closest that Tetris has ever gotten, too. Tetris 64 has a "double turn" option that works the same as the mechanic in Puyo Puyo Tsuu.
