Why is this labeled casual?! The actual puzzles are hidden behind professional cryptography! Cryptography is the exact opposite of casual!
I was unable to solve any puzzle in this game without referring to the walkthrough. When I learned the solutions, I nearly tore out my hair in fury at how stupid easy the puzzles are. This isn't moon logic or anything. The game simply does not explain how you are supposed to deal with them, like better games such as Deponia.

For example, the first two puzzles had hints scattered through the dialogue, but after starting the first puzzle you cannot reread the hints. There isn't any explanation that solving the puzzle requires listening to the hints given in the dialogue and then applying those to the objects displayed in the environment. Writer's hintbook is idiotically obtuse, rather than explaining that it literally contains answers and translation keys.

The third puzzle stymied me because the game did not tell me that I could move to rooms by going up or down, since the interface does not show you whether there is a room there unless you move to the edge of the screen. Since I did not know the hints were in the top and bottom rooms, I had to check the answer book to figure out the puzzle. Then I tried to forget the answers and solve the puzzle myself using a physical notebook to crossreference the clues.

I really wanted to like the extravagant and weird story in this game, but my experience was ruined by the idiotic puzzle interface. I am not so petty or immature as to send death threats to the developer, but I think he should leave game design forever and find a fulfilling career in cryptography where his talents would be put to good use.

Hi, thank you for your feedback! Sorry, that the puzzles gave you a hard time, I guess it's just a creator's style of brain teasers and riddles and his design choice to make them quite hard :) But as you mentioned, it shouldn't be too troublesome with the guidebook! :)
