i wishlisted this as soon as i saw it. bought it during the first sale and gave that copy away because wanted someone else to get to experience what i was sure was a cool little gem (i've too many games as is, didn't want this one i was rooting for to go to waste).

currently on sale for less than $2 on the Humble Bundle store, so i was very tempted to buy it (again); checked the store page and was shocked to see the MIxed reviews. read the prominent negative review and discovered the devs' apparent legacy and the fact that the advertised (apparently necessary) Art Book / Guide is nowhere to be found.

i do believe this would definitely be worth a gamble at the current price, but that i've not seen a single communication from the dev dashes any hope... and, learning that it's from the same house that fostered Iesabel, that price makes a little more sense - is more cause for alarm than a deal to celebrate.

you need to foster trust (and actually deliver on what is advertised) if you hope to make it.

what a shame.
