MOD REAL 2017 under construciton

After testing PBM 17 in many different ways during these days I am ready to start the big real mod. Probably more than 2000 players will be added, over 1000 corrections, more than in 2016, but these are only numbers; the most important for me is the accuracy of the database That is the point in the REAL MOD 2017.

This is my plan (a two months thing, I think, but there is fun in modding basket, at least for me :) ).


1 - A ‘CLEAN’ database

Less, or any, duplicated players. The right size, position(s) and birthdates. Skills updated, some friendships will be added.

2 – NEW LEAGUES (with real players, arenas, pics and logos)

3- MORE REAL PLAYERS

All around the world, especially from every single ‘exotic’ country ( no more Armenian or Kenia national team filled with American names…). Also this will be reflected in the surnames of the prospects every year.

4- COACHES

Updating and creating.

5- THE COMPETITION’S RELEVANCE.

The value of each will be checked and eventually modified.

6- CLUBS BUDGETS

The value of each will be checked and eventually modified.

*Of course that is going to be subjective but when editing and creating players skills I will try to be realistic (knowledge, stadistics…). The target? less players aged +30 with ‘1’ of experience, less players over 100 kgs with 15 in speed etc...


I think that I will be able to publish the whole mod late in March here in the steam Workshop.

WNBA no, I am modding only men competitions.

After one day league ACB almost fullbedited, +50 real players and 131 photos added.

But it is only the first step of a looong funny way.

Hi there, Zhang!

I am in the first part (updating teams, editing bad birthdates or other info... and adding pictures and missing players).

I am working a lot with the European teams but while checking them sometimes it happnes that I find mistakes in other players (also NCAA and China, a league with money very attractive for USA players overseas) so I improve them too.

Until February I will not start with the new leagues, there is a lot to do with the existing ones. Everything is going fine :D.

Great! but in my opinion, u can leave China League away because it's so hard to adjust it at all. Let's do the NBA stuffs asap! Good luck to u!:)

I have edited:

-Spanish 1 and 2 full in detail.
-Around 50 players in NCAA.
-Around 60 players in Europe.
-10-15 Chinese players updated.
-Over 800 faces added.


But it is just the beginning.

While the plan for February is adding leagues (7-10 more, full) all the time I am correcting players I find with 'mistakes'.

In March, time for adjust leagues relevance, budgets, logos, coaches and arenas.

Everything goes as expected. After some days working:

-ACB updated in detail.
-LEB GOLD updated in detail.
-LEB SILVER created in detail.

Also over 250 corrections in NCAA (birthdates, nationalities, sizes, team).

Over 150 corrections in Europe and China.

1490 player faces ready (over 5000 in the final version).

On Monday I am starting with Swedish league, Portuguese league and Slovakia. Then also the Mexican league is confirmed.

During before releasing: coaches, logos and many arenas.

I am testing regularly and no problems arised :).

Already finished Portuguese League (in detail). Now working in the Swedish league. Next Slovakia and Mexico and maybe Macedonia.

At the same time more and more corrections of players I 'find' while updating (surely more than 2000 have been updated).

Also added towns, and updated fans, budgets... and testing.

Everything as planned, I can say that problaby I can publish it during the last week of March, if not earlier.

I am in a tryp until Tuesday night. On Wednesday I will try to update the dbase but remember that is under construction. There is a lot to clean, esoecially in NCAA.

Last thing I have finished is Swedish League (full in detail) and Icelandic Dominos League (this one only teams and a few players).

I have also edited many guys wrong sized and many (5-5-5-5-...) players.

Is NBA Rosters updated to today?

I did not work the NBA. I have included the trade Ibaka-Terrence R. I am focusing in correcting the info of the players and updating rosters in NCAA and Europe. However, updating NBA rosters up to March could be not hard. I will consider it at the end of the modding process.
