Other birds flying with me in single-player mode ???
Re: single-player mode.

How are the other birds, that fly with me sometimes, created? Randomly? Some times I fly for (game) days and don't see any other birds and other times I see two or three at one time. I like to try to follow them -- not very successfully I'm afraid.

All the birds are real people, either playing on PC or on Switch (yes, it's cross platform!)

That means that the game is always in multi-player mode? Then the only way to ensure single-player mode is to break my connection to my ISP? Don't get me wrong, I like flying (or at least trying to fly) with the other birds.

Yes, on PC the only way to play alone is to be offline.

Thanks.

It's too bad we don't know the screen name with whom we are flying.

It was intentional, something like Journey where you play with strangers. Sometimes I really wish to know who I'm playing with but there's charm in now knowing too.

There's official discord by the way and some of us are playing regularly so we can chat with each other. Feel free to join!

I agree. There is a charm in not knowing. This game is nothing but serene, charming, relaxing. I call it the Totoro of games.

Awww, that is so cute! I love that, such a wonderful comparison and I agree with that! Gonna call it like that as well haha

Actually in Journey you do get the nicknames of your companions at the end of the game, and can contact them.

That's another game, made by Thatgamecompany, where you meet up with other people and at the end you will indeed see their nicknames!
