are there any cheaters or hackers?
Steam allows you to just go into Offline mode, change your in game files, then go online with new hacked character, cool huh? They wont even ban you from doing so, nor will they fix the problem, or even admit its real. If you buy a game and its ruined by hacking, Steam doesn't care, they don't care about you, as long as they get your money.

So what assurances do I have that there wont be a bunch of people playing with cheats?

Hey Sparka, in no game will it ever be clear of hackers. The Darwin Project has moderators and enforcers ingame which handle these figures and other players breaking the code of conduct. In my experience with this game so far, I haven't ran into a single hacker. I also have 70 hours on the game.

It is impossible to have an 100% anti cheat system. There are always ways to hide a cheat. But all I can say is that I didn't ran into a cheater yet like DJ Red and I got 50hours playtime right now

This guy probably has PUBG :D

This game is not popular enough to have hackers and there's no market, so hacking in this game is a complete waste of time and ressource. You can't even brag about your score since very little people know it.

You can't have 100% hacker proof but it is like cheating in Worms, doesn't make much sense

It's the job of the show director to spot them if they exist :-)

Exactly.

i think, the show director is an anti-cheat system in itself.
He constantly sees what is happening in the game, so when someone never misses an arrow and only gets headshots, it WILL be noticed.

And the Director WILL make his life hell.

Hey, there! We do have an Anti-Cheat system in place, which filters users of hacking/cheat programs out. Cheating is a serious offense, as detailed in our Code of Conduct, and we take these matters seriously. We can only assure you that if and when we have problems, we would be actively working on them because our community matters a lot to us.
