Now that we have new technologies such as Rollbacknetcode, Crossplay and crossplatform, the game will be a success if it maintains the formula of a vast offline content and has a very good and fun multiplayer for everyone. Bandai is losing money by forgetting about this wonderful franchise that is as good as tekken.

Never, Bandai's too busy milking tf out of Tekken, and a slew of their other weeb games. I think it's time to pack it in and come to grips with the fact that Bandai sort of forgot how to be good at games. DBZ Sparking Zero feels like a one-off miracle by this point.

Tekken 7 came out it 2017, then in 2018 soulcalibur 6 released. I assume it will be the same...tekken 8 came out in 2024, soulcalibur 7 in 2025 (in theory).

I don't want SoulCalibur to be ruined by microtransactions, battle passes, and the focus on online play to the point there's no single player modes.

This was obvious with the repeated Tekken DLCs and deprioritization of real issues like the shoddy netcode and possible misread reversal edge inputs in VS Mode PvP.

The producer Motohiro Okubo left. He was beloved by the community, but it would not be the first time for SoulCalibur to lose its producer. SC5 had a different guy after all.
SC6's director Yoshinori Takahashi is still with Bamco as far as I'm aware.

They can't even make a proper balanced and working fighting game and you want 7 lol... they can't make animations, the majority of them have clipping problems, the textures are horrible and the feet "literally" looks like something out of a PS2 if you don't use mods, the hit/hurt boxes are bad (expecially when you are close to walls), there's literally nothing redeemable about this game, not even the lifeless empty awful stages and the cringe worthy english voice acting, Libra Of Souls had a lot of potential to be like a board game a la Dokapon but they were too lazy to do that ofc, the story goes nowhere and it feels rushed, Kilik defeats Nightmare way too fast/easily making the latter look like a joke, matchmaking is awful, i lost count on how many times it made me fight sprouts and low ranks in general wasting my and their time cuz they know that they will lose, also as a A1 rank i should get way more for defeating S ranks but nope, waste of time :D

EDIT = thanks for the points fanboy with low standards :P - i'm sorry that you can't accept the truth, i'm just extremely objective.

Also they can't really make SC7 without censoring everything in this DEI/Radical Feminism era.
