Save file corrupted

My PC crashed yesterday in the Libra of Soul worldmap so i called a day.

I just started the game and it says my File is corrupted.

i backed up my data (manually) but now i don't know what to do.

That's good to have back up.

I'd recommend following:
1) Back up current one for just in case (even corrupted)
2) Remove the save data (avoid folder merge)
3) Copied from back up
4) Launch game

i tried, didnt worked. I will try it on a different PC tomorrow if this does not work either then i am afraid that i have to accept my lost and start over again.

I thought you made back up before corruption.

When the game quit, Steam Cloud sync (upload) save game data even corrupted.

So if you have played before other machine, better to back up the file before Steam Cloud to sync (download).

For at least character creation data, you can use following tool to export and import back to saved games.

I think there was someone explained cherry picking partial save data as well in this forum. I'm not familiar with that, but I think you could restore data probably except Libra of Soul section.

CLOUD SAVING should be disabled, that's the main culprit of saves corruption on SC6.
