Is this game still lively?

Ive thought about playing this again but the steam community hub thing doesnt show anyone playing (at time of posting). I know it doesnt show player count if its under 300 or something, but still, that seems super low.

Just check steam charts, not super livelly but its not particullarly hard to get matches going through discord

i love SC but it's very dead at this point bamco use bot in SC, T8 got no balance and mech are garbage but at least there are players...

Yeah I'm enjoying T8 but I was always mostly a SC fan

I'm playing it, but not online. I play against the computer and also against my wife on the same computer / screen. This and DOA are my two favorite fighting games. And even if it were lively online, my internet connection is too laggy to enjoy a fair fight.

Ranked is basically empty and you can maybe find one or 2 casual lobbies but they are usually the same people that are afk, Good luck :)

i'd suggest finding friends by adding random people (what i like to do) or use discord

I'm "almost" always on ranked and it's not empty.

I remember running into you a few times on ranked and you press alt+f4 on welcome screen. Ranked will be even emptier shall you and others keep doing that.

Ranked is cancer for low-mid skilled players. They're just going to be matched with people who put more hours into this game than their actual job (if they even have one).

Since the beginning there should have been ranked options to only get matched with people within your own skill range (like other fighting games such as DoA have). But there isn't. The game will just match F ranks with S ranks etc.
So ranked is understandably just a waste of time for many players.

Ranked in this game deserves to be dead.

Yes you are right. There is a reason why they are doing it. Simply because they are losers. Just like some others who leave the controller and pretend to be AFK once they see they can't win.

B+ rank guy who puts 40+ hours per week into the game is complaining about lowbies not wanting to play him and calling them losers.

Maybe have some understanding of WHY they don't want to play you?

What is the issue with playing 1 match and quitting than alt+f4 on welcome screen?
