How to deal with Sophitia?

Seems like she's an absolute beast in close range, and while i can get by with some of Azwel's attacks, it seems as if Geralt just gets wrecked due to not having a long enough weapon like Siegfried, Kilik, etc.

I can't even imagine how other characters with shorter weapons fight her.

Geralt can just spam his counter 4 A+B. When Sophitia player stop spamming it will be a Geralt time to spam

Memorize her lows, accept she always gonna be stepping, trap her with horizontals or kicks after guarding. A lot of her kit can be interuppted, ducked, or jump attacked.
Once Sophi commits to a low, you can punish hard with a jump attack.

Just stand block. Her lows take like four seconds to come out so you can just react. She's a really bad character tbh.

Its pretty easy actually at least for what I've experienced, most sophitia players will spam horizontal lows and mids and will constantly sidestep so you have to remember to avoid using vertical attacks and if you're being pressured use GI or RE.

I play her and I found it very hard to beat players who are very defensive, because throws are very easily teched in this game (I may be doing it wrong though). Otherwise she'd be the one.

I like to fight against the Sophitia style players :D, you should complain about broken garbage characters like Yoshimitsu.
