I show very big cons and pros of the character.
I clearly stated I was looking forward to the character.
Veterans of soulcalibur who genuinly care about the gamestate and longitivity of the game is what it needs. Not people who see 2bs chest and drool.
Your last line was "Overall, I'd say 2B is going to be an unbalanced nightmare for this game.
Ivy 2.0"
I've stated this before and I'll say it again. I really don't care for 2B, BUT from a business standpoint, adding her was a very good move. Obviously the Soulcalibur "Veterans" aren't keeping the series alive so the Soulcal team decided to target a new fanbase to pull players in. Adding the old characters won't bring many new players in, nor will it bring your "Veterans".
You complain in every single thread/comment you create dude. Just chill out and enjoy the game, cuz I can tell you rn, your the type of person pushing the newer players away.
Edit: I legit took a break from the game because everyone here Complains man. You want the series to stay alive at least make it seem enjoyable to new players. Teach others the matchups and things to avoid inatead of basically telling them to avoid the game.
Her kit is effectively Azwel and Ivy mixed into one, and considering Ivy just got nnerfed, and Azwel just got mega nerfed... is it wrong to say someone who combines the kits into one is unbalancable?
Currently, the only moves in her kit that appear to be viable is her Pokes, her overloaded command grabs, and Aggression stance 50/50's.
She lacks any form of actual engagement from 8way run, meaning shes reliant on Aggression stance to engage.
Her pokes have low punish times, which means it encourages the rapid use of them (AKA Ivy's summon suffering and Chain pulls)
All of her attack strings lead into overloaded massive AOE attacks (Azwel).
Pointing out that a characters kit is unbalancable isnt a complaint, by any Standards.
LS from League Of Legends LOVES Zoe and Neeko, but openly admits that while hes in love with their designs, their inherintly unbalancable due to how awful the kit flows.
Stating that something is unbalancable isn't a complaint. It's a legitimate standpoint that needs to be addressed.
2B, as her kit is now, will never be balanced. She will either be over tuned and broken, or under performing.
Sorry you don't understand the difference because you can't comprehend that some people point out the faults in something they love so it can be improved in the future.
And I'm sorry that you don't know the literal definition of the word complain. I could sit here and argue with you, but It's pointless.
Constructive criticism is one thing, but what you do is far from it.
But keep on complaining about you beloved dying series that people like you are killing. The rest of us sane folk will enjoy the game as is until the devs make the changes that they feel are necessary.
Pretty much what I'm saying lol. Did you see the player count before she released?
You clearly don't play fighting games often enough to understand that, so Im not going to bother trying to explain to you anymore.
Dont bother posting on actual critiscms from competitive players when you lack basic knowledge of why something is or isnt problematic.
You know this and still complain. They aren't gonna fix it day one so shut up about it. Easy.
And "actual competitive players" don't complain as much as you do lol. I've played you many times and you're actually decent at the game (i remember because you legit wouldn't even do a set.)
Seems like someone who put so much time into the game would, oh idk.....LIKE IT! Geez.
A good chunk of people here have you pegged as a crybaby and I'm not the first person to call you out on your bull. Take note of that and do something about it.
You're just a casual who thinks they understand the game enough to have input on competitive talk.
Discussing a characters issues is what the Devs want to see as early as possible, so they can know for the next character addition and not repeat the same mistake, just as the Sc5 community did with the first patch to the game that was, subsequently, the patch that killed SC5 due to being so poorly guided.
Sorry you think discussing pros and cons are complaints.
Also the people who call me a "crybaby" are all also people who dont play this game at a high competitive level at all, and are here as casuals who check competitive based posts for no reason, and then give input.
B. All of the people like you just create a huge pisspuddle of complaints about the game. Pointing out a flaw is not the same as constantly crying about how bad your character is or how good another is. Get over it because it wont change until it changes. Your worthless comments aren't going to make the devs change a damn thing lol.
C. If you honestly think that casual players shouldn't have in input, you really aren't that smart, and as I said before, are the reason that this game is dying. Casual players are going to make up the majority of the games playerbase regardless.
I was going to try to play SC6 competitively at one point. Until i realised that everyone who plays it just has a fit about every single aspect of the game. Get over it because it won't change anytime soon.
Bonus: I could make a collage out of your complaints dude. Chill out and just play the game. Take a break from the comment(complaint) section and just play the game. That's what I'm gonna do. I'm done here.
Buh bye
A.No where in this post did I mention Tira. Maybe try again? Also, Latency exists online, AKA input delay. Theres a reason why people complain about Yoshi and Sieg online, but on LAN their more than tolerable. Online means effectively nothing unless its 100% a good connection (which it will never be unless youre lucky, and our games never are. Our games are normally 3Bar.)
B.You really don't know the difference between complaining and addressing problematic designs.
C.Casual players are the ones ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that Nightmare and Siegfried are broken because they willingly sit still and let nightmare spam trips. So no, Casual players shouldnt be taken into competitive balancing.
D.Casual players dont do anything for the game in the long run lmao. Why do you think the playerbase died???? Casuals saw CAS memes, bought it, had their laughs, and moved on. Do they make sales? yea. Do they keep the game populated? No.
Also, Most fighting games linger around 800-1000 players at am time after the honey moon phase dies because the casuals Rage quit. So the community is actually fine as is with population.
Care to prove this by streaming you fight Astaroth in a VS CPU match with 2B? Legendary difficulty and 5 rounds. And obviously you can't lose a single round since you claim Astaroth can't win against 2B at all.
It obviously won't be "high level play" since you're not an expert with 2B already and the CPU is built to show leniency even on legendary. But I think it should give you an idea of why you're exaggerating.
