I main her since SCV, only the matchups with Ivy and Geralt give me problems.
Well I bought this game for Tira as well but then I discovered Azwel so you never know when love will strike you.
Why don't you try to punish, then ?
OP has no responsibility to ever beat people if he can blame the game hard enough.
Well that is not true. Let's have a look at her.
Her RE is good. A A is ring out, B solid damage while regaining health, K for stance swap.
+extra meter benefit from RE in Jolly.
Jolly wsK is tech crouch and tech jump. Fast and good range. One of the best pokes in game.
7_8_9 B deals a lot of damage if you counter a low or grab. Learn the matchups to place it.
Jolly wsB is great for punishing high attacks. (Voldo 66 A+B K for example is punishable with it). Duck under the high and punish with wsB K 66B.
Jolly B+K can grant a switch and counters vertical moves with a hit. Leads to Gloomy 3B combo if a switch happens.
Starting Jolly Tira is not so strong, true. But in this Phase you build up meter and try to switch with 4K, RE K, B+K, 8B+K A. Or you use a Soul charge and switch with 66 B B, 236 K...
Then there is Gloomy Tira which is fine. Soul charg gives you high damage combo options in Gloomy.
Finally you should be in Gloomy Coda which makes her really strong.
Permanent Soul Charge without meter costs.
Getting into the mood you want is a bit tricky. But when you know how to switch and if you watch your health bar you know when to get out of Gloomy so the next hit you take gets you back into it.
+her (Gloomy) damage numbers are high if you make use of her combos.
Her lack of frame traps mean you have to play tight and place counters.
Stop if you get blocked.
Tira is not a bad char. She is just not easy and you'll have to learn more than with most other chars because she is more complex.
I've seen plenty of whine threads, but this is by far the worst.
