Algol for Soulcaibur VI

I know a lot of you say but Azwel is Algol or has the same move set. thats a load of rubbish.

For starters I want the hero king back. he was great fun to use and he was the good old best of both worlds.

can't decided if you want to use Souledge or Soulcaibur no problem we got you.
plus he cooler than Azwel.
want to put my reason why.
Azwel is a crazy op hermit , at first looks really cool and then you here his voice and you think............................................. this is supposed to be one of most threating charcters in the seriers. Inferno is an op badass who on fire and who come straght from hell , Nightmare agian badass armored monster. then you have cool ones like Abyss and Night Terror and you know gonna get wiped. but then come to Algol at first you think hmm is this guy cool or badass and then you here his voice and qoutes and his move set and baby you know he awsome. he everything Azwel is not. which not a bad thing. its just I want to smack Inferno with a chair , i want to smack everyone with a chair. his gameplay was fun. you telaported around the arean in a chair while you beat them with it. at the same time you smack them with Soulcalibur and Souledge. thats what made him cool.

after all this game supposed to be a celabrating the histroy of the game.
Also he mentioned in story mode.

Bring him back he was so cool he was my main.

so what are your thoughts.

should the likes of Abyss , Night Terror and Algol return.

for me yes.
Abyss's wepon already exists in the game.
Night Terror would be fun addtion , because HEHE legendary mode would be fun to use him on.
Algol because he was the Hero king who was mentioned though the whole story and plays a massive role in the game.

some may not agree because hey they think the roster is to big.
or they crying they be to op. yeah they would but like inferno they could be offline.

i don't care if they online or offline I like single player mode.

but give your thoughts and legit reason why you think your favourtie charcter should be in the game.

I'd like to see new characters, just to prove they can do better than Groh.

Azwel is alright, I actually liked him, but we'll see what the nerfs actually do to him.

I like his Azwel style because its cool and has a similar concepct to Algol to a degree.
in the sense he uses The soul of Souledge and Soulcailbur.

I don't mind new charcters and all but i rarther if its a celebration game. celebrating the 20 years. i hope Algol is back. i mean it taking from the best parts. such as inferno and boss charcters.

I miss Algol's moveset, and would love to see it updated for this game, hopefully he's one of the planned characters for Pass 1, and hopefully his style could be used with CaS too. Also Edge Master being voiced in Story Mode but not playable is a bummer. I like playing the SC lottery his character provides, it would be cool to see him use featured characters' fighting styles as well.

Algol is cool, but lore-wise he has no business in SC6 timeline. Leave him for SC7 or even 8.
There is no shortage of legacy characters who need to return via DLC in SC6.

this game is meant to be a 20th anaversey reboot and what I have read , this so celebrate all the timelines. in Zasalamel story they made so many Soulcaibur 3 and 4 referces it was insane.
I feel Abyss should come back and Do feel Algol should come back. if want to know my justfaction for why 4 and 3 should have a play in 6 , 4 was made 10 years and 3 was made 13 years ago. and the only reason there exists a SC6 is because soomeone in the comapny said lets do a 20th celbration for SC. if SC7 coming out for 25th anaversey or 30th anaversey. see the problem i'm getting at.

the only one on the list i feel is a 50/50 chance i would like to see. is Night Terror and thats just to see Inferno vs Night terror on legendary difficulty on CPU vs CPU.

other than being Sophitia's son he probaly the most hated charcter in the series.

It's an extended remake of SC1 which also covers the gap between SC1 and SC2 without actually doing SC2. And also it has flashbacks to Soul Blade.
By this logic I believe SC7 will be a remake of SC2 and SC3 combined with Abyss as the final boss while SC8 will be a remake of SC4 plus more story post SC4 that was never told previously.
Algol is a boss character of maximum threat and lore-wise he was not resurrected until SC4. Putting him into the story before SC4 timeline would require serious retcons and will also change the known plot of the games drastically. You can't just drop a god level player into the story before his time and expect the canon plot to hold.

What gameaply to boring or somthing ,not your cup of tea.

I mean found the chair fun and all in 5 but he lacks elements such as proper ult in 5.

I see what your saying,but why not explaned on the currenty game. i know sounds like a total bungie move.
but why not just extented 6 with DLC ,it probaly cost the same ammount anyway.

look at this way.

SC6 already cost around £70 with dlc and you still pay for extra story with bloody Tira to much people hate.

what i'm saying is you could indroduce them by extending the time line.

the only dam problem i see, which could be fixed with costumes.
is going foward Sig has soulcaibur , i mean you already fight his shadow which nightmare. most of it could easily be fixed with costume.

besides if they did make a SC7 it would probaly not be here for another 10 sodding years.

the the games up to SE to SCV have 3 to 4 years been realse date.

SE -1995
3 year gap
SC -1998
4 year gap
SC2-2002
3 year gap
SC3-2005
3 year gap
SC4-2008
4 year gap
SC5-2012

now may think what has this got to do with anything.
the word is constanty

now if look at the gap bettween SC5 and SC6 its 7 years

at first you may think so what. if go on the gaps they been doing for years now if had been a 3 year gap SC6 would have been out in 2015 if 4 2016.
now if had been two 3 year gaps this would be SC7.

but because they only brought back the game because it was anaversey doest give me much hope for SC7.

If not noticed they been trying to ditch the game snice SC4 which was orignaly inteeded to be the last the game. also you can see the gave up hope when you look at what a mistake 5 was.

i'm not saying SC7 will never happen.

I'm saying if they did make it they charge another £70 for what could be a £20 DLC that tells the exact same story.
