If you want to get this game for online, don't. At most you can find around 300 people in it's best days. On Playstation I've heard it's better, so maybe get there if you have Playstation.

The default setting of match is 5bar.
It better to be set 3+bar.
You can set match waiting on training or arcade mode.

Ah, I forgot about sprout level.
When you started you start as sprout level.
I remember it seems like sprout level get match only lower ranks.
So I think it's better to set any speed until you get G5 level.

Not dead. But there's quite a few top tier players in ranked. Those who are just good but not top tier are going through a whole new round of getting bodied, but the idea is to come out stronger and learn much from it. Went zero for ten against a top tier S rank Tira last night. Gained some knowledge from it though.

It is not dead, but not many players. Best is to have people on friends list and invite to play.

From my experience playing online I often run into the same players over and over. Same high ranks, same lower ranks, and same middle ranks. So because of that for me the game (on PC) is pretty much dead. Nothing new is happening and the same keeps happening. But the game however is not dead as in there are no players... just the same ones..

Kinda, it's hard to find players to play against because they hate losing.
That goes for Ranked or Casual. I recommend playing this game with a friends.
