tekken 7 or soulcalibur 6

i only play MK and injustice normaly, cant get into street fighter. wich one is better?
i played soul calibur on the dreamcast some years ago ;) never played tekken.
soul calibur was not that deep like MK more like button smashin

Soul Calibur is easier to get into, much better customization plus making your own character, and has much better single player content.

Plus I'd suggest the characters are cooler too. ;)

OK i think i get both, and give Tekken a try, sure i will get destroyed in Tekken, same thing if you are new to MKX. In MKX and Injustice 2 i win over 50% of the online matches.

Hrm. Personally I prefer SoulCal over Tekken, Tekken is more of a 2D fighter that just happens to take place in a 3D space. Emphasizes long combo strings, etc. Games like DoA and SoulCal, specifically, with it's 'eight way run', emphasize timing, distance, and smart moves.

I would say that even a passing touch with playing SoulCal is enough to get you started, however the well is very deep in this game, with tricks and strategies to master. There's sadly very little to compare SoulCal to in the fighting game genre. ....There were some PS2 era 'Deadliest Warrior' games? ....The Bushido Blade series?

Anywho, for my preference, SoulCal beats Tekken.

i agree . soul cal-soul blade is easier to contol when it comes moves imput . its definitly more closer to bushido blade . i played bushido blade soul edge and tekken 3 on ps 1 a lot

i only have played soulcalibur on dreamcast in 2003, and as i remember it was not that deep, but sure there will be much more new moves and counters over the years.

Tekken is a legend and the best of fighting games I've ever played. Also it's extremely deep. I'm going to get SC as well though.

Tekken has got the best voiceovers.
In SC and most if not all other fighters characters yell the same phrase when using same move, while in Tekken it sounds different and natural.
Also it doesn't have that monotone annoyance narrator.
Though I'm picking SC6 too, prob. And do have T7.

Gonna pick SoulCalibur mainly because it's an easier game to get into, and has a lot of singleplayer content to consume. Also, you get to create your own fighter.

People say that Tekken is somehow hardcore. But as a newb in fighting games, I still fight newbs in ranked there that don't have easy combo enabled and play for the fun. Just my experience. (Don't main one character there at least for start, as there are rank floors that you can't drop down below. They activate once you obtain a certain rank with any character)
And I have only positive things to say about the netcode there and general game performance on my old core 2 duo processor. I hope Soul Calibur will run as good.
