Resolution locked at 720P

I just got this game and the resolution is locked at 720p. It looks really bad on my 4k display. nothing I do in game is helping to adjust it. the arrows are grayed out. any ideas before I request a return? I really want to check out this game.

That's unusual. What hardware are you using?
Better to check cable also support 4K 60fps (HDMI 2.0 or above).
Also better not run background apps like wallpaper engine.

Right click Soul Calibur 6 in library and go to properties. Click local files and browse local files. Binaries, Win64, right click Soul Calibur 6. Go to properties and click the compatibility tab. Click "change high DPI settings". Make sure "override high DPI scaling" is checked.

Thank you SO much for this. I just got it today and I have the G9 4k doublewide and it was locked at this insanely low resolution. Now it's rendered in full and looks like staring through a window. Worked like a charm!

I just bought it today and had the same issue locked to QHD. Followed the steps and it now works in 4K thanks.

Check your Windows compatibility settings, because some games will be affected by Windows 10/11's built-in UI scaling. I think it's something along the lines of "Ignore system DPI scaling settings"?
