Unlocking and playing the DLC characters?

I've come across 2 characters in the game, Hilde and Haohmaru. I've fought them in arcade mode, but I can't play with them in versus. Is there something special I have to do in order to be able to fight with them?

You need to buy them, either as separate DLCs, either as Season Pass 2.
There are 8 DLC characters in the game in total by the way: Tira, 2B, Amy, Cassandra, Hilde, Haohmaru, Setsuka and Hwang.

*Rolls eyes* With the amount of work Project Soul put into the new mechanics, the least we can do is pay for extra characters that they add after launch.

I prefer DLC match more than unlocking as I used several accounts and can use the character immediately.
Unlocking all Smash characters took about 15h and I needed twice.

And I rather pay more for season 3 or more DLCs.

While dev team are in development, even minor issue has chance to be fix.
When development stopped, even major issue almost never get fixed.

I think it is added automatically, but you can check installed DLCs at following.
Right click on SC6 in Steam Client > Properties > DLC

sure, so much innovation in the genre, such greatness, sc6 is truly a gem shinnin in the darkness of the biggest hardwork.

Yeah, I think this happened to Cassandra when we bought it over here, had to dl it because it didnt automatically for some reason.
