How do I do this part in the tutorial, im stuck!

It says parry and attack with a reversal edge. Im using a sword and shield and i get that RB ( for me its just R on a switch controller) starts the rock paper scissors.

The text under says

"Clashes will normally only occur after a successful reversal edge. However, if you successfully parry your opponent's attack and continue to hold RB for a set amount of time, you can dramatically increase your soul gauge as though your reversal hit landed , even if it is blocked."

So what am I supposed to do? How do i parry with reversal edge

Hold the button as long as possible I guess.

Wait for your enemy to attack then use it, you have to stop an incoming attack with it, fortunately the tutorial guy will attack at a consistent rate, should be possible to get the timing right with a little trial and error.

As mentioned above you can hold the button down in order to prolong the parry window.

↑ Yeah. You actually have to get hit while you're doing the parry animation for the RE to count.

So i have to count how many seconds before the bot attacks me, then hold it? Because when i hold reversal edge button, it does the attack after 2/3 seconds of holding it automatically

Pretty much as you describe, just time it correctly, the bot will attack at set intervals then loop his actions until you parry correctly.

You shouldn't need to hold it but doing so may help you get the timing a little easier.

For the dlc, really depends, do the characters in it appeal to you or not, as for the cosmetic stuff, unless you want more options in the create a soul then not really.

My opinion, look up some videos of the characters/cosmetics and decide on that, if for example only a single character takes your fancy then obviously you don't need the whole season pass.

I'd say yes. All the S1 characters are quite unique and well designed, and their Chronicles are quite good as well. Plus, even if you don't care much about customisation and character creation, I'd still say the CAS sets in S1 are worth it because they come with the BGM from the first four games.

Thanks for that link, i cant read japanese but yeah. Well i tried downloading characters online made by people and it said i was missing the fighting style OR the customization items... Does that mean im missing dlcs ?

It can be either really. I don't think the system specifies the missing items, and characters add their own outfits and hair styles too.

Even if you can't read JP, you just need to click on each CAS set and it will show the contents in pictures.

There are just handful items to unlock in game point.
Some times it gets prevent to download character if the character has used the part and you are not unlocked yet.

SP1 contents are explained on store page.

I just bought all the dlc characters that are ccurrently on sale. Will buy the customization in the future if i want
