Special dialogue in SCVI

I was amused by the dialogue between Sophitia and Cassandra. They don't only have special greetings and victory expressions, they have different dialogue when using their gauge. And even when using some grabs. Or so I think. That made the characters feel more alive.

Some other characters with special dialogue are:

Raphael vs Amy
Nightmare vs Siegfried
Cervantes vs Ivy
Seong-Mina vs Ivy
2B vs Azwel
Groh vs Azwel
Kilik vs Xiangua (I think)

...And that's what I can remember. Do you guys know some other characters that trigger special dialogue? Is there a good list somewhere?

Setsuka’s victory against Haohmaru should have her realize he’s not Mitsurugi.

Who would have thought she’s turned into another Rufus (from SF series). SFxT TGS trailer between Bob vs. Rufus callback?

Nightmare vs Cervantes (when cervantes uses the reversal edge sometimes he says "little thieve", I suppose that there could be more dialogue there that I didn't find)

I'll keep looking for more. There are a huge number of those special interactions by the way. They are just not that obvious some times...

But they are out of order. To be honest I would prefer to know which characters have special interactions and then explore them for myself.

By the way, what do you mean with "hidden"?

i remember that scv has alot of hidden quotes, in order to reveal them you need to do some specific moves on some characters

Nightmare has special dialogue against most of the cast sprinkled here and there. Off the top of my head, his opening and winning quotes are unique for Siegfried, Ivy, Kilik, Sophitia, and Astaroth.
His NTC Grim Stride KK line is "Stay back," followed by a variable line depending who you're fighting.

Any character that isn't listed below gets "out of my sight!"
Talim, Amy, Mina, Sophitia and Xianghua get called "little girl"
Kilik gets called "comrade"
Ivy is "Dexter Purpure"
Astaroth is "Sinster Sable"

In most cases, his 4KK line is "Give in," followed by the same variable line.


My favorite other bit of unique dialogue is that several characters have Maxi-specific lines for Reversal Edge. They tend to comment on his hair, and it's hilarious.

Everyone has special Reversal Edge lines for Maxi (take a guess about what).
There are special dialogues for key story events in both Soul Chronicle and Libra of Soul (take for example the final boss; their dialogue is only available in that specific fight).

Character relations are a good place to start. If someone features prominently in another's story, they'll have special dialogue with each other.
Azwel has special lines with Groh (his archnemesis), Raphael (and, by extension, Amy), Nightmare, Cervantes, and 2B.

Geralt has special lines with Mitsurugi, as well as a special intro for magical characters.

2B only has one special intro; with Azwel, but has special RE quotes for magical characters.

Hilde and Groh has special interactions, which gives Groh one of the LONGEST win quotes (the menu pops up in the middle of it!)
