RE is not such a nuisance and lets face it, SC5 was the worst SC up to date and everyone will tell you that.
Sorry but preety much everything you said is nonsence, there is not one insta supper, infact the fastest i can recall is i12... that is slower then a ton of SC5 CE's...
Also there isn't a single infinite combo... there never was since the launch.
Siegfried is actually really strong and genuently gets rewarded for loosing... Really friendly for new players who make a lot of mistakes
I just skimmed over this so I won't respond to everything but you should give it a try man. I know everyone gets salty but really SC6 gets bad reputation becouse of that while manny invested players agree its the best running FG atm and my personall favourite tho i guess that doesn't play a role.
I know things seem better when you are looking back... but they really weren't, and if you stay composed and learn from your mistakes Im sure you will start to appriciate the game.
Soul calibur 4 and 5 killed the series, because they changed the artstyle, story, and even combat of the game into weird lazy ♥♥♥♥, 2 and 3 was really Top quality, above all 2, 3 gave a lot of content. You can even feel in the music, the ♥♥♥♥ isnt the same and the compositions are bad compared to the old ones from the previous entries.
1. RE is absolute trash. there are certain characters' shining spot is to put opponents into a stressful situation and the opponents have to know what they are dealing with in order to come out of the stressful situation. NOW, RE the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. you have a 50% chance of getting out of it. how many times in an even match can you put your opponents into a stressful situation, not that much and that is your winning point. now , it is washed into toilet.
2. the Super is absolute insane. it comes out from no where. it save the opponents from a stressful situation as well.
3. soul charge and attack, same, save you from being stressed and for some characters, they can just spam the soul charge attack without any consequences. absolutely no fear spamming party.

with all above being implemented in SV6, all your afford of putting pressure on your opponents means nothing. they can easily do any of the above and get out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and punish you buy spamming their meter skills. besides the super, all the other 3 will turn the table easily and make a advanced player lose the game in the blink of eyes.
Allow me to just laugh, cry and puke at the same time.
SC6, on the other hand, is fundamentally flawed. The game auto-blocks some strings if you let go of guard, often doesn't unblock when you are trying to sidestep (causing you to jump or crouch), and has normal(easily executed) attacks that are so fast that the only way you could block them is to panic mash reversal edge or get even luckier by normal blocking it on accident.
Unfortunately, the community is kinda bad wherever you go. If they're not snobs who think beating you once means that you're trash or that you have to be a certain rank to be good, they're spineless know-it-alls who run away the second it seems like you may not be as easy to beat as they thought and they'll never fight you again. They'll tell you that you're spamming or that you're bad at the game and run away or kick you if they're the host.. and actually player match aka casual match is pretty dead on pc.
If you're not completely fed up with SC6 and you want more matches, i'd suggest playing on console of you have the means.
I still play SC2 HD on XBOX ONE X backwards compatibility.
In addition, SC1 emulates really well with ReDream and widescreen hack. Proper(not stretched) FOV +HD + ReShade = way better than it originally played on Dreamcast.
Lastly, you can use ReShade to apply 3D and 2D shaders while using any of these emulators. 2D scaler shader works really well to clean up and smooth the 2D HUD when upscaling.
I agree that SC1,2,3 were the best but for me it goes SC3 > 1 > 2.
Of the newer games, SCV was the best by far and it had a lot of stages too. Over 25 stages I believe. Even if they get SCVI up to 15 stages, its still 10 stages behind.
I am a bit concearned about SCV tho. Finding anyone thinking SCV wasn't absolutelly horrible is hard, why do you think that mess was even acceptable,let alone better then SC4 and 6 ?
For SCV, I wasn't a fan of the single player because it had practically none. Like most people, the newer characters didn't do anything for me either. However, for VS battles it was great. Fun fighting and graphics. The stages were greatly varied and plentiful. It was fun to set "cpu vs cpu" in VS and random both characters and stages.
I didn't like SC4 because there was no way to do "cpu vs cpu" setting like SCV and SCVI. However, single player was fun in SC4. I remember grinding all the way through it.
I would be way happier with SCVI if it had more(25+) stages and didn't leave out certain types of stages that were fun in previous entries. For example, the floating raft/platform stage, some rivers were water and others lava. In addition, the pirate ship stage in SCV was crazy impressive too. It was multi-tier so you could fall through the floor and keep fighting inside the ship. It was canon fire from another pirate ship that knocks you to the next tier.
Lastly, I really liked the battle and exhibition theater modes in SC1,2,3. It would be great if they brought those features to SCVI.
...and bringing back the "Rock" character would be cool too.
