only 1k players the game is dead.?

I think this game on PC has died very fast, I doubt that I buy this game now, I was waiting for Black Friday to buy it, but I see that it is dead, and I will hardly find an online match.

Why has the game died so fast?

You do not know what you are talking about. Soul Calibur 6 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deserted wasteland compared to Tekken 7. A quick look at the Steam Charts shows that Tekken 7 a month out had a steady 3 to 5 thousand players. Soul Calibur 6 has only around 1 to 3 thousand players and it has not even been a MONTH. For ♥♥♥♥ sakes quit sucking Namcos ♥♥♥♥ and admit it. This game is on life support. It does not matter what excuse you dream up for SC6 it will probably be the last one in the series. And after playing SC6 for 100+ hours I say let the series die. Because it probably would just get worse from here anyways.

It hurts me to say but I agree. I will never pre order a game again after this dissapointment. I waited a year or two for this game. And all I get is two half assed story modes and a new unbalaced OP mechanic called Reversal Edge. But unfortunatley no one is calling Namco out on their ♥♥♥♥ and this game will just fade away in the ether without as much as a sigh when it is all said and done. People are letting nostalgia blind them as this game dies right in front of them.

The game isn't dying, its doing fine. 1k players is GREAT for a fighting game. Yes, tekken has more, its also a much bigger title in general, just because its not breakin tekken numbers doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥.

You can not like a game all you like, you can doom and gloom all you like, doesn't make a bad game at all.

People are probably ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrated with ranked randomly deciding to give you 0 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ points, and the fact that created characters are still running rampant in ranked ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ruining it.

It's not Tekken. And it makes the game so good. If ever I need to play a game like Tekken, I'll go to play Tekken.

Majority of playerbase does not care about CaS in Ranked issue. Tbh, a lot of people is, actually, playing their CaS.
First reason. Casuals walked through single player modes such as LoS, finished everything, and dropt the game, because they don't care about online.
Second reason. Some people was competitive, but they returned to their Tekken, Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Because they don't care much about Soul Calibur, in general. It's not their game. I'm playing SoulCalibur, because I have no my game, for instance. If Dead or Alive 6 was released before Soul Calibur, I would not be here. I trained my Helena and Honoka or maybe Raidou (he's not announced yet) instead.
