Is Just Frames Calamity Symphony even humanly possible?
No, seriously, I want to know this.

I tried it on d-pad a ton of times. Even doing the inputs correctly registers as a 47896 motion.

I tried doing it with Macro to see if that was do-able that way, but the wait times between inputs can't register anything faster than .0001 seconds per input on input mapper as far as I can tell.

Unless there's something you guys know about?

I had the dummy do the no-motion version as a reaction to any attack in training mode, and there is literally no motion registered.

Is Harada making fun of us or something?

Yeah that doesn't tell me anything. You don't even see the inputs, input speed on frame, or anything.

As I understood fast versions of SS and CS require 50 frames.

Thanks for the hint, though I could use a bit more than that. :/

Pretty sure a few folks use macros on PC, ran into a couple Ivy players could spam SS and CS with just frames like 10 times a round.

It's doable, summon suffering's is a bit easier imo. I do all diagonal inputs with my analog stick, and then the cardinal inputs with dpad. This game is insanely oriented toward fightsticks as opposed to controllers, and the just inputs were probably made with them in mind.

Randomly -- yes. Online -- good luck.

You can get JFs even when buffering a triple full circle to do it. It's all about getting the 6A+G at the end as precisely as you can.

^This exemplifies just how dumbed-down the game is -- when Ivy's command grabs can just be mashed out... In fact, work more reliably when done thusly!

You've been able to do it this way since at least SCIV. It even tells you this in her Combat Lessons.
Seems I was wrong about the JF though. You definitely used to be able to in previous games, but I can't seem to get it right now as I'm testing it. I could just be messing it up though, it is 3:30am after all.

Edit: Nevermind, just got it. Proof incoming.

(Bah, Steam only previews youtube I guess.)

Wish she would've kept her 5 Calamity Symphony. It required some thought, but couldn't be mashed out, and wasn't insane.

It was great with a pad. You'd hold down on the stick and press up on the d-pad twice, shift to left on the stick and release, then forward on the d-pad 3 times.
Extremely quick to input but rather arcane if you ask me.

Pretty sure you could still "mash" it though, you just had to do triple forward at the end.

Just so you know, I used a 360 controller. And just the thumb, no crazy Mario Party controller grips.
