Anyone out there care AT ALL about Voldo?
Really wish he was taken off the rails...
Standing he's slow forwards or backwards as compared to most other characters.
You get down into the mantis crawl and it's like your moveset is so limited it've very obvious what you are likely to do next.
You try and mix up and it's
block block block block block...because his wind-ups are just b******t.
Voldo is Voldo's own worst enemy because you never seem to fight yourself...

Seriously, though, he's a lot of fun--in older SCs. I haven't tried him yet in 6.

Youd be surprised how many people dont know what to do against mantis crawl..i use it for revenge matches against spammers...really gets them mad..lots of "connection lost " messages from that move

While that may be, He's unusual but predictable when he's down in Mantis stance...depending on the player. Mantis stance forms bad habits pretty easily.

I just don't like how eeeeverything--even what you all are saying...is hinged on mantis stance.
He's from my experience almost always beat by any character single strike for single strike. He is simply too slow....sort of

A lot of his standing moveset is not so much telegraphed as I feel like it just hits WAY later than it visibly should. Like moves aren't happening until he's done with the follow-through animation.

There are many way's to get into mantis stance but the follow ups...and out side of that...he's too slow, I feel. BB is beat by the majority of characters

His kicks are...he ha a lot of useless kicks except for the most basic of them. 2 of them aren't even...what is the point? Of break dancing to launch a character on the wrong side of you...The kick animation should be different and put the foe on his head side not the foot side for you advantage.

I don't understand why voldo feels so sloppy... like I always imagined voldo had a bit more precision play about him...but he's not punchy nor fluid. Like Zas....everything feels like it hits right on both ends if that makes sense?

If you just block when not dealing with mantis...everything is mid mid mid mid mid some random low and I can't even think of a high? but because he doesn't recover 90% of the time if you block it'll be "your turn"...again when not dealing with mantis stances

I just don't see a lot of talk about Voldo...is all.

i agree he is a TON of fun in other entries but here it's like everything leads to mantis fire dancing or mantis foot ritual. :/
Which don't get me wrrong is cool but I would like Mantis stance to be more...not situational but more...transitional between moves and not so much that main trick...y'know?

Voldo players are already a cult who go Mantis Stance running through the game.

Its my least favorite move in the game.

Well the stance is Mantis.
The scurrying is:
Mantis Fire dance if headfirst. <--Lethal hit on block
Mantis Foot Ritual if feet-first. <---I guess goes further or some s**t no lethal hit on block.
