Ultra-wide 21:9 patch
It seems the 21:9 ultra wide patch doesn't work with the recent patch.

It was originally posted on this website:

Does anyone know a way of creating the exe from scratch?
Or anyone have the most recent exe version for 21:9 already?

Is there a fix to run 32:9 with 5120x1440p ? Thx!

This is what I used for 32:9 with 5120x1440

1. download hexedit
2. open SoulcaliburVI.exe
3. replace B8 0F 84 D0 01 00 00 F3 with B8 0F 85 D0 01 00 00 F3 (remove black bar)
4. replace 3B 8E E3 3F with 39 8E 63 40 (change aspect ratio)

FOV:
35 FA 0E 3C CE CC 4C 3E and replace it with: EF D4 83 3C CE CC 4C 3E
00 00 F6 41 2C 01 4C 89 and replace it with: 00 00 F6 41 2C 00 4C 89

Is there ANY chance of doing this in a .ini file? I did some HEX editing MANY years ago, but, well, nowadays.... I just know I am going to screw it up ^^

I'd definitely be interested in this too, got a 2560x1080 just begging to be used on this.

Nah dw it’s really straight forward. Follow the steps above and you’ll be able to do it

Hi

I have a 3840x1600 monitor. I see the aspect ratio item to change but do you know what the FOV value would be?

Many Thanks
SHREVE Jun 27, 2020 @ 5:02am
I went a head and used the 3440 FOV posted here and its much better than the default FOV for my 3840x1600 monitor.

It's probably not perfect though

Is there an easy way to explain on what I would need to change?

Awesome! I felt like back in those old times when hex-goofing on my old computer. The instruction is working fine. The menus are keeping the old aspect ratio, but in-game it's absolutely great!

Thx for this!!

Won't patching in ultrawide lead to bans due to editing of core game files?

Several players are using mods on different games, those should be causing a ban as well? Actually I used to do some modding of a few games and I never got banned. Hopefully it stays so...
