Some parts are 'Needed' to keep the look of a really creattive CaS (No obcene Lizard things intended)
I would love to see an option to disable equipment breaking. At least on the client side. It really ruins some CaS characters.
Would be nice if they allowed to keep certain parts like make at least 3 parts unbreakable.
Hopefully they do.
*spends 5 hours creating the most pimped out armored knight CAS, only to have the armor break with one counter attack combo*
Sadly true. I make characters from Doki Doki Literature Club and Love Live, only for them to have an impromptu bikini session
I fought a really creative CaS lemon-head guy, only to destroy his 'head' in the last round.
It felt like when santa got slightly drunk on Glögg 40 years ago, and dropped her!?! beard.
I also lost the match as I got the same feeling as 40 years ago ;)
Also fought a good 'redneck sterotype', that actually started in his underwear, with one added extra slot, as a single ball hanging out of the side of the underwear.
That one were sadly breakable too.
Client side toggle is almost a must have, to keep us CaS'ers happy.
I actually don't see who would dislike not ending in their (stylish of course) underwear after 2 good hits in the first round.. and then sport just the underwear for up to 5 more rounds?!
If it's client side only they can continue to look at their 'jiggly things' as much as they want anyway.
I for one think this game really needs less restricted options for some races since tons of equipment isn't available for Revenant. Additional content is also very much necessary to recreate some of my favorite CaS I did in 5. I would certainly pay for more, but would also hope there are plenty of free pieces added in the future of this game. I know for a fact there will be objects bundled with the release of future characters.
EDIT: I haven't yet hacked any save files for SCVI, but in 5 items could be made not to break, or to be hidden until "broken" with some fairly simple hex editing. I remember being blown away by a player in SCV who made Clark Kent, who would, upon breaking, expose a Superman costume beneath his suit with a cape that would only then become visible.
Creating 'made to break' characters would limit creativity if you use that mindset.
That would almost make the toggle individual for all parts, or make them into group break toggles.
All of it really good ideas, but I don't think it would be any easy workaround for that on the fly with the current game, and with cheating being quite noticable on the ranking boards earlier on, I don't think they are too willing to allow fan created mods.
A lot of the 'hardcore' ranked players already hate us for showing up even in 'almost normal for the playstyle clothing', with the standard size, just with a few modifications, and not the actual charather who's moveset we use.
On the other hand, didn't SCV have almost a ridicilous amount of separate paid DLC custom stuff? Sure I'd pay for most anyway.. even if I'm quite fine with my look as it is.
Edit-> DLC's I could find for SCV with a quick search, EU version:

As for Clark/Superman the suit was DLC, but the rest was a fairly complex hex edit of the save file, so definitely not something that could be done on the fly (thumb drive and 2 external applications were required). Still, it would be interesting to see if other players could manipulate the data in this addition to the series in a similar fashion. I have been told hex editing isn't the same in Tekken 7, so I wonder if the switch to UnReal Engine is what stood in the way.
In light of the OP, I would also like to see an opacity option for stickers, as they all seem to be at 50% on clothing items. If this could be changed I know it could make a few of my CaS more accurate (my Tekken 3 Yoshimitsu costume lacks the orange fleshy parts due to awkward appearance from overlapping stickers).
That being said I would like to see another Tekken pack released, hopefully with more content than before, and some throwbacks.
