If they aren't tournament players idgaf.
Pretty much this. Everyone is cheap as hell in this game (except Nightmare whosmt is busted). Some matchups are just lopsided.
Also, never listen to what "pros" say. That is if you want this game actually have 4-5 good characters like Nightmare with the rest getting nerfed to hell. Taki is only "bad" because they can't win easliy with her.
As a Geralt player, I can Quen Rush and take his first hit and just smack him before his next slow as hell attack comes out. Most Nightmare and Siegfried’s want to juggle you, so Quen taking that first hit is nice. Works decent for Mina and Kilik as well.
Ivy on the other hand is fast, stupid long range, and all manner of WTF, why do I even bother?!
Hmm... might just be because of my lack of understanding of her. I’ll have to take her into training and learn to recognize her move sets and combos better.
ps: Git Gud.
KEK
Not Ivy who has tools out the wazoo to deal with you at ANY range, instant throws, stupid high damage and a CE that GI's you and has range on it?
Seung Mina is busted as well, her damage is way too high for how fast those moves come out.
