why is Edge Master not a character? for he's in the game aka only story

Initially? Budget constraints and deadlines. BM had too many doubts wehther this game would sell and thus didn't give the dev team the personel or resources to flesh everything out. That said, i hope the dodgy old codgers in charge of BM got proven wrong and gives this game the same love TEKKEN got.

Same reason they didn't add Mokujin to Tekken 7. They're basically a random select and they seem to prefer on filling the roster with more unique characters. Notice how Inferno was similar in that regard and they decided not to do that this time around, even tho he is a clone of Nightmare. Probably doesnt help that in 5 they had like, 3 edge master type characters, so they probably wanted to stay away due to that too. Besides that edgemaster is a rarely used character, his only playable appearances being SC1 and SC5.

Kinda doubt they'll add him as dlc either, they would be crazy to do that lol
