Online Slow-mo help
The game works perfect offline but when I connect to people online and fight it goes into slow motion. Its not lag or anything its legit slow down. Is there a fix to this?

Have you tried verifying the game files, updating your video card drivers or directx? Sometimes contacting developers is a waste of time.

Not EU.
I'm sure i'm not facing people with low fps, as it happens every single match.
Yes, i tried verifying, updating drivers, nvidia/game vsync on/off, changing graphics settings, windowed/borderless, opening ports, and a lot of other common things. Even the complex stuff namco sent me like messing with MSS, MTU, Winsock, etc didn't help.

Well if its not your fault then youre gonna have to wait for a patch
I heard some people say that one drive was causing issues with this too. It's caused issues with some other games I've played so it's worth looking into

I saw that too, disabling it/killing the process didn't help either.

At this point i'm just waiting for them to return the support email and for a patch, tired of looking for a fix. Thank you all for trying to help.
I even called Verizon and made sure it wasn't a packet loss issue. Bamco just needs to patch this.

I have the same exact problem.

The slowing down in multiplayer is 100% a problem that has something to do with people having a bad connection. Whenever I fight my friend with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wifi the game slows down, whenever I fight a random Russian online the game slows down and sometimes when I'm winning the game decides to slow down until the other person has won by abusing the slowed time.
I can only assume the game does have a mechanic in place where it tries to match connection speeds so that everything is fair, but it seems to result in weird slow matches that can be abused by just pulling out your internet cable or something.

1.Turn off the vsync from NVIDIA, LOCAL Hidden files or in game
2. set resolution to lower like 1080p

Untrue, I have fast internet with no packet loss + a beefy computer rig. Something isn't playing well with bamco's code.

I got a reply from the ticket i sent namco, and... "this may be the way lag works in this game" is what i got. They seem to refuse to acknowledge the problem and/or don't know how to fix it and come up with excuses.
The worst part is the lack of communication, i don't even want to play it anymore after this. Thanks Namco
New patch didn't fix anything to do with this issue.

The last replay from bandai namco : Thank you for sending me the additional details.

I've collected and checked all the details even further I can say that this is a bug that Bandai Namco is aware of and working on fixing it as soon as possible.
As you no doubt remember, the game was released a week ago on various platforms.

Not only that, but the number of players who started playing in multiplayer was really big, which led to certain technical issues and performance with the servers.
I want to apologize for the inconvenience and let you know that the developers are fully aware of this problems and they are working around the clock on solving it as we speak.

This particular issue will be solved on a greater scale by the developers themselves.

Thank you for your understanding and the interest in Soul Calibur 6. Do not hesitate to contact me again.
Kind regards.

Hello, I know this thread is pretty old but was a solution ever found?

I'm suddenly experiencing this after being able to play it perfectly offline and online for months...
