You'll fight several enemies that are super easy, and even timed fights that get you into a complacent pattern to finish fights quickly.
Then you fight an AI that counters the pattern you've become used to, and while you're trying to re-adjust yourself they combo you into the ground.
That being said, the worst is definitely the Ancients. Took me 2 hours to beat one with how the AI perfectly knew every combo and counter the character could use to their fullest.
I mean Ancients deserve to be difficult, but the difficulty spikes in this mode are crazy.
The input reading is really ridiculous in the game, not in a good way.
It IS possible to make a challeging fighting game AI that doesn't rely entirely on input-reading shenanigans (DOA5 does it pretty well) but it's hard and most devs don't bother, sadly. At least Fissures close on their own after a few 'turns' so you can skip ones with particularly abusive mods.
Oh and BTW if you do try Legendary Arcade, play Inferno. Trust me on this.
Would you be able to give a quick summary of how you managed to create the inf CritEdge build? Any tips would be great
If you can guard impact, dodge, and know when to use Critical Edge, it gets easy.
By far best weapon I have is Nightmares lv 63 sword with 400 attack power, it does much more damage than my lv90 weapons with 700-800 attack power. Nightmare weapon is pretty much only one that can beat enemies, this makes leveling other weapons annoying because low level quests are rare post game and even in those enemy might be invincible for me. Arcade was much more enjoyable, Libra feels like work even though I like its concept of leveling, gathering weapons and doing story quests. Its just way too hard for me.
I was able to finish it though...by spamming x with Nightmares weapon, this works far better than anything else I tried, what a great way to prepare players for online matches. I never play online myself though, no point, I would just lose all my matches.
In arcade mode I at least could play way I wanted, much better than Libras button smashing. I am too tired to play Libra anymore, its like banging my head against the wall, so no mastering all weapons (only 3 mastered) and some sidequest left undone. I wish there would be difficulty setting in Libra mode.
Guard impact, dodge and critical edge are completely useless to me, I managed to time them right in tutorial (though it took long), but in actual battle they are "self-destruct" skills for me.
you suppose to have better weapons but your weapon deal not enought damage ( Soul of yoshimitsu)
