Tips for learning to Guard Impact?
So I've been trying to learn how to Guard Impact well since a well-timed Parry has won me a couple of matches already. Trouble is, I can't do it reliably. Its usually too early or too late.Anyone have any tips for mastering it? I've got Reversal Edge down OK, but Parrying is still needed.

So part of it is just timing, theres a very small window to do it. You'll slowly get a feel fir when to parry and what strings you can parry.

The other part is you have to tap the 6 for it. If you've held the 6 down for a little bit before hitting G it won't cone out.

Basically, you tap Guard and Forward right when an attack lands. It causes the opponent to stumble and you essentially get a free hit.

You don't get a free hit. You gain advantage after GI'ing someone. If you attack immidiately after gi'ing then your opponent can GI you back.

True, but more often then not, the GI catches them off and you can get a hit in. Though I do enjoy the GI Tennis match LOL.
