Online problems.
I can't connect. I keep getting network error. All the casual lobbies are 0 bars. This is the only game I have an issue with.
I usually play siege, and killing floor with about 50 ping tops. Leagues/ overwatch usually about 12-30.

Please don't compare a peer to peer game with games that have dedicated servers.
Second, have you checked to make sure you have an Open NAT?
Games with servers generally dont care about NAT. This game does.

What ports should I open? The same as tekken?

I think whatever central server or something they use for p2p connexions just crashed, i keep getting "standby error just occured".

No, i get network error all the time. Since release. I forwarded a bunch of ports.

Idk what to say, i'd start looking at your connection outside of ports. Try wired with Ethernet if on Wi-Fi, or connect to one of your neighbor's Wi-Fi to see if it's your ISP giving you issues.

If you can play TEKKEN 7 you shouldn't have issues with this game...

Thats what I am saying! lol... sigh oh well. may just refund. SC is my prefered fighting game.
Tekken just feels sluggish to me.

Well it did just come out Friday and devs are asleep on the weekends. Just let it sit in your library for a little bit and see if a patch fixes things in the near future. Did you remember to grab the day one GPU drivers and reboot? Keep an eye on that 2 hour playtime though if you plan to refund.

Oh well though... hopefully something happens. I am the only person on pc to seem to have this issue...

By chance you try closing Steam, clearing your DNS Cache, try again?
Long shot but try Inputting these into CMD prompt

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

And see if that fixes things?

Nope, only difference is now. I don't constantly get a network error right away in ranked. I can find an opponent then a couple seconds later I get it.
Casual, bars are all still empty.

Oh and i googled TEKKEN 7 0 bars and people had the same problem. Seems to a be a Namco thing. Those people were ultimately able to fix it either by running Steam as admin, disabling antivirus and firewalls, connecting directly to modem (removing router), configuring modem firewall (if it lets you), buying a new modem, or in 1 case switching internet providors. I'm pretty convinced you have a closed or moderate NAT after reading those forums.

When stuff like this used to happen to me i'd unplug everything for a day and let the ISP DHCP reset my IP address. Charter sucks in that you have to wait like 12 hours though.

I will try disabling anti virus and firewalls. My modem and router is 1 thing and I am already hard wired in. My pc is literaly a foot away. Modem firewall can't touch that. I don't have charter I have mediacom. Comcast is barely out of reach.By that I mean half a mile down the road their territory ends.

Okay, turning firewall and antivirus off just let me get to connecting to player instead of just finding them. Nothing changed for casual. I will just hope for a patch. bed time for me
