Ranked cheaters

Bogart is at the top of leader board with only 22 rank wins and 80k?!

The guy in 2nd has fought over 500 hundred battles, something smells like a fraud here.

Yeah, there is a reddit thread about him. Apparently, he is using a macro for Ivy's pentagram and just disconnects whenever he's about to lose.

I see, is there anything that can be done, also I will say no disrespect to the other players who have their legit wins, it's very telling that some yankie who had to cheat the game to be top is where he is, shame on the US players, I would hope they don't give him any respect for that behaviour.

I feel sorry for the number 2 he's legit from the wins etc he should be number one.

Can you point me to it? i'd like to avoid these type of trash players. The Dcing when you're about to lose thing isn't new but i'd like to get them out of the way early, i wonder if there is a way to block and not have to deal with these players.

Unfortunately there isn't his name is Bogard, has 80k and only 23 games or something, the number 2 has 530 or so and 10-15 k its total bs

At the very least, reputation does mean something, if he's already known for this, No one will take him seriously. at the end of the day it's just ranked, and you can personally consider number 2 to be the top one when it comes down to it.

It's the same principle as knowing someone in past games who had like a 90% win ratio but would only fight newbies/people they can easily beat. but crumble in front of any decent player and thus DC. it will get them no where in the end.

Yeah exactly but i feel sorry for the number 2 he seems great and the players beneath are miles better, that guy even has a private pro because he know's he's a fraud, he was at 50 k earlier this afternoon and now 80k? I don't think so, he's using a hack of somekind too.

In theory, you can counter macro cheats by forcefully temporary slowing down the framerate (which is also kinda cheating) so the timing of the macro doesn't match.
In Ivys case, all these high damage command grabs are highs so if you face a command grab abuser, you can simply crouch it.

What I don't get is how did someone get so much more ranking points for such few wins?

Because they are cheating you just can't get that amount of RP with only a few wins or they forced win so the rank multiplier came in and even then you dont get 80k so fast, it was 50 k this afternoon, the player is obviously a fraud in this case.

Yea, remember, this is PC. obviously cheating can and will happen, so it's no surprise. then say on a console.

That's not as simple, ranking points usually are calculated from server side, not client side. From countless fighters I played on PC, I never saw ranking points hacked. Not even in the popular DBFZ.
If the ranking points are indeed calculated through the clients machine than this is some really lazy work.

I'm not interested in your anger at the person, I'm not interested in that person himself.
I'm curious of how the RP system was managed to be manipulated while I've never seen this in any other Fighter I played since ranking points are usually calculated by the match making server and not the client machine. Was this clear enough?
