A good tip I could give is to make sure you press your inputs carefully, this game as it has been since the beginning can always punish you for careless inputs and that's just standard practice.
Seems like many new players are picking this up and there's alot of further help online, good way to learn is lobbies in casual because you aren't losing anything and gain good knowledge alongside practise mode
If you jump right into Ranked mode, people will still destroy you like any other fighter.
That being said, it one of the most beginner friendly fighters I've ever played. The game is deep, without requiring many long complex input strings and combos. Plus there is plenty of single player content to get your feet wet with.
I'm also going on a nostigia trip with this game. I haven't really loved a fighting game since SoulCalibur 2, and I never played any of the others since I've been a PC gamer ever since. This game brings me back.
Contribute to the OP's thread or get lost, too many of you unhelpful people who I see still BOUGHT the game and just bump threads or troll, needs to be a purge of you kinds of people so others can help people asking honest good questions and help them into the game, absolutely disgusting parasite
lol nooo i can button mash and i win around 50% of my fights.
if you try this in other fighters you loose every match !
Injustice 2 is much better for singleplayer.
you only have much to read in Soulcalibur...
Well if you are up against another button masher, of course there is a 50% chance of winning
Yeah Injustice 2 has better cut scenes and story telling, but I'm talking the core gameplay. Soulcalibur has your standard Arcade/Story modes, plus a Libra of Souls mode, which gives it an RPG flair with leveling and item progression.
You don't have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what you are saying actually and by your own admission, just re-read all of that...
If you aren't going to help the OP you might as well get lost, they consulted the forum for suggestions and if it's worth hanging around, people like you are the reason these games never truly last for none but the "die hards" unfriendly, unhelpful and just generally full of advice that helps NOBODY.
Hmm I'm okay with the no answer, but do please state it why it's a no? The game looks very fun that is why I'm planning to play it and at the same time being nostalgic because I read that the game is basically rebooted from the start - so basically I want to know the whole story by playing it because I was very young back then when I played the Playstation's version and I was barely speak English back then too
It is, if you want to relive the Soulcalibur 1/2 days, this game will do it for you.
