Steam Cloud useless

i had around 8k soul points and during a match i was disconnected because of a power outage. When i logged in again after an hour, every bit of progress offline or online is gone. Can the devs do something about retrieving lost progress or is it "thank you for playing the game" crap i'll be getting?

anybody experienced this type of problem? i really want those points back if possible.

ok i stand corrected, my 2 characters still have total soul points gained(recoreded) and my player liscense is still the same, my only porblem now is the total accumulated soul points that is banked, i still lost those.

I had the same thing happen to me, lost all the progress I had on single player, libra of soul, story mode etc, the game even tells me the hints about what everything does everything I first click on them as if I nevert saw them. Bye bye characters I created.

My Character LP online is still there, but the replays I had are gone.

This makes it very stressful to play at all knowing I can lose everything at any pointjust because I could lose power, and it happens a little too often around here.

A little irritating to put it lightly.

I haven't lost my data, but yes happens often here too, even though I have a UPS set up, it still turns off sometimes. Makes me concerned.
I found the save data location, and I guess I'll manually backup like I did for MHW.
It was on C > users > your name > app data > local > soulCaliburVI > saved
App data may be hidden unless set otherwise.

Try making a backup of your saves, even with the cloud you should still have them in your folders and i guess replacing them should overwrite your cloud saves in case you loose something. I searched a bit now and i found them in appdata/local/soulcaliburVI/saved/savegames, making a copy of the folder just in case.

yeah, thats what i'm doing right now with the backups, its just that the 8k+ soul points is wasted
