Agree, really want that style back. There is a possibility that Hwang is a story unlock, so play story when it releases to find out.

I think others are more deserving also. I would like to see Hwang, Lizardman, and Hilde as the 3 first dlc chars. And add the copycat styles later on like Rock, Cassandra, Amy and whoever else :)

cassy isnt a copycat her style is different that sohpithia however sophi is a milf and cassy isnt which is why sophi has been a mainstay character in every game just like mitsurugi is the typical samurai which is why he hasnt gone anywhere

Actually I think Hwang is an unlock rather than DLC, but if not I would want him too. Lizardman, not Aeon but a Lizardman is in the game, or at least his style is, it was shown in a video by Hayate. Axe and Shield not one of Sophie's weapons.

Cass has always been the less popular sister. She's definitely got a fanbase... but I doubt she'll make the original roster. DLC is possible... but I think that'll depend on how successful the game is. There are other characters with larger fanbases waiting in the DLC wings... That's why Tira got in... There's Setsuka and Hilde too.

I like Sophitia but I perosnally prefer Cassandra's moveset. She had some pretty neat combos too especially with just frame attacks.

I was wonderinng this, as well. Here is what I found from Wikipedia

"Cassandra did not make an appearance in Soulcalibur V, although she was mentioned in the official artbook of the game, which stated that in the conclusion of Soulcalibur IV, she arrived at the Ostrheinsburg Castle to find her sister had pledged her service to Soul Edge to save her daughter Pyrrha, who has to rely on Soul Edge to live. Sophitia managed to render Cassandra unconscious with a single strike. When she awakened, she found that the entire castle had begun to disintegrate to the Astral Chaos. Cassandra found Sophitia's unconscious body at one room, but as she approached her, Cassandra was sucked to the Astral Chaos as the castle returned to normal."

This game is a reboot of the series, SoulCalibur 6 is retelling the story of SC 1 and 2, SC 4 or 5 has no impact or influence on this game at all.
