her lows are slow, just learn to recognize them.
hard to say too much more without knowing who you play.
Also thanks for the tips.
She can be a pain for sure, but once you start to recognize her strings, then it's only the really really good 2B players you'll need to worry about.
Ahh, I see. My bad.
Well if you want you could add me and we could play some Casual matches where I use 2B. I'm not great with her, but know the basics :)
-Don't play Geralt
-Most of her attacks have a sliding animation between hit strings. When you see this, you'll probably want to Reversal Edge or depending on your character, you should be able to knock her out of that slide.
-When using Reversal Edge on her, her strongest inputs are A and K if memory serves me correctly. I don't remember if her B input can Ring Out.
-Really don't play Geralt
-Severe guard impact. It's widely regarded that 2B is the most guard-impacted character in the game. Her strings are pretty unsafe on block and whiff, which leave her wide open.
-Linearity. If you see a 2B doing Momentum Shift (the dash), then, regardless of attack options, you have a clear idea what she's going to do. She'll move forward, which can leave her open to your verticals, launchers included.
-She suffers bad from zoning. If you control the pace and the spacing of the fight, then you can neuter 2B pretty damn well. She doesn't have that many options, as most of her stuff is pretty low range.
-Punishes are your best friend. She's got long recovery frames, so characters who specialize in punishing whiffs and blocks, (GERALT), work really well against her.
-Practice your GIs. On the flipside, her attacks have pretty clear windups, so anyone with a really good GI can do well.
-Reversal Edges. For RE sequences, her moves are all strong, though the kick is the best, due to it being an automatic launcher that can combo into a hard-hitting string. As such, counter-kicking her during REs is a good idea, though beware of the horizontal.
As a 2B main, I'd be happy to help.
And yeah, she has very long attack changes, which is easy to predict, but i dont even want to make one mistake because if i do, im in for a long cinematic attack chain which i can do nothing bit sit through.
2B and Amy seem to give Geralt the most problems, and since we are talking about 2B specifically, I think it's worth noting that i've had much better matches against 2B players while playing as Azwel, Mitsurugi, Siegfried and Nightmare.
Also this attention ♥♥♥♥♥ is talking about Geralt. Geralt can space out 2B in the range she's uncomfortable in and yrden her pressure.
EDIT: what is English
I might have to try out Zazalamel some more. I feel like his 6K would be a good counter to her dash attack
