Unable to trade sometimes

Sometimes when I play online multiplayer I am unable to trade in certain games.
Maybe this is intentional, i'm not sure, but I always play the same game type.
When I go to the trade section I can trade with the bot, but when i try to trade with a player the checkmark does not work. Then if i exit the trade tab and try to go back in it gives me an error message, and now I can't trade with the bot or other players.
This time it said "KNF:Hier kannst du mit der bank handeln, Tausche deine Rohstoffe in den Unten angegeben Verhaltnissen". Which is strange, because I am not german.
And yeah, I cannot use the trades whenever this happens in a game :(. intentional?

Yeah I'm very confused still, I did also put that in google translate and It seemed like it was telling me i can trade with the bank and not players. But I always play the same game type, and i just played 15 games where I never had this problem, and now I've had 2 in a row where it's happened. The worst part is, I cannot trade with players only the bank, EXCEPT if i try and trade with players, then the error message pops up and on that turn I can't even trade with the bank because of the error message....

I found on the official catan FAQ. But this is a 3 player match, and in the match I'm playing now I was the third to place (so presumably settler 3 not settler 2)... Idk
"What are the rules for a 5 or 6 player match?"............"Settler 2 now gets to take a special turn. Settler 2 may also trade and build as much as they wish, with the following exception: Settler 2 MAY NOT trade with other players (domestic trade). However, Settler 2 is allowed to trade with the supply (maritime trade). Settler 2 then ends their trade and build phase."

Ah, 5+6 player rule. In your exra turn, after the 3rd left of you, it is only allowed to trade with bank.

I have that problem occasionally as well: I try to offer trades but when I click the checkmark, nothing happens.
Usually I quit, the app and restart and it works fine.
