DONT BUY THE GAME BASE IT S A SCAM!!!! SCAM!!

I bought the game base to be able to change setings in custom game, such as time per move and things like that ! WHICH suppose to be FREE anyway, i will try to refound ASAP !
Catan is a nice table game, but here they wanna pay for ALMOST everything and the bot is supper buggy to make you pay for the game base..

Why it s a scam ? because after you buy the base game and invite 1 friend wich dosent have the game base bought only free version , YOU CANT NO MORE CHANGE SETTINGS IN LOBBY because that friend must buy the game base too.. SRSLY ? WTFFF dev?!?!?

You can only play custom match if your friend have bought the base game too.

well, ok, i bought the base game but why should my friends buy it too? i "unlock" the custom game settings ... it s not fair. they are 100% profit of that.

We are playing different games then, you can play custom matches without buying the game, the only thing you can't do is changing settings, why do other players need to buy the game aswell if the host wants to change settings?

You don't need to buy the game a second time when you play it with friends in RL to change things, why should you be charge for such thing? They could have made the game paid from the get go.

Catan universe is the only online boards game that works like this and you are defending this behavior?

Really. In MY game you can only play multiplayer if you have bought the game, without "freematch". (And freematch is ever chance-matched.)

Your friend must be really poor if he can´t spent the 6$ for the game.
Here https://www.catanshop.de/ can you see how expensive the board games are.
For the costs of RL-base game you can buy ALL content of CU.

I´m not the lawyer of CU-owners.
Contrary. I think, this whole construction (FTP, but only SP all 12h, MP if you buy with ingame-money) is bad.
Better would be: "Freematch" as demo, without costs. The whole other content to buy with RL-money. (And like in all games I know, in MP all players have to own the game, not only the demo.)
If it would be like that, all the "I want spent no money"-people, Cs- and DOTA-guys, wouldn´t be on Catan (without the freematch-demo). Several hundred thousands players less, but the community would be less toxic, less players who leave game before end, less players which unhonorable allie. It would be a better isle.

There are good reasons to hate this client of this game - it was completely unplayable in mutiplayer for over 6 months, but you are just an actual idiot that doesn't understand the product they are buying and the requirement all players must own the product for these features to become available to you. Risk, they allow you to join rooms even if you don't own the map pack that they're playing in
