Does the AI cheat when you play solo?
I have played quite a few games today...can't win...I even choose to go against rookies.

Seems almost every game, when I set up and have a nice 2 for 1 trade in, my roll never comes up. Happened earlier, and just again. I just lost in a 5 player game....finished next to last. had a 9 roll pasture...with a 2 for 1 trade in. Even used the 36 deck option for seemingly truer odds. In 75 rolls, 9 was rolled 3 measly times. 3 and 4 were rolled 10 and times! The only rolls with less were 2 and 12 with two each. 10 and 11 were next closest with 6 each.

I understand the term random, but it sure seems I get the short end of the stick in these AI games every single time. The game earlier, I had 8 and it rolled like 4 times while 6 rolled 13 times. So it doesn't seem to matter what direction I go, I get the short end of the stick.

Sure seems like you are going against a stacked deck, if you know what I mean.

I played a multiplayer game earlier and that seemed much more fair and went down to the wire.

If you want something that seems to happen to me, it's that the AI likes to move the Robber to where it knows rolls are coming up soon.

Exactly. The AI will move the robber to your 8 spot, and gee, 4 8's in a row just happened to be rolled. Happens ALL.THE.TIME!

Definitely a problem with this game. Against a set of master AI, the only way for it to be fair is if you place all of your cities on their tiles. Doing that makes 7's roll really heavy though.

Yes. Increasing AI player difficulty seems to simply make 7s roll more frequently and make your #s roll less frequently. Also the AI players gang up on you. I was in a game where I had like, 4 VPs and an AI player had 10, and the other AI only ever put the robber on me, rather than the player that was in the clear lead.

The die rolls are random and the AI does not know what the die rolls will be.

The only exception to this is in the tutorial, in which the die rolls are pre-determined to explain the mechanics.
