Money in Steam, no gold in Catan

Im new to this. I've got money on my Steam account, but how do I get gold in Catan?

Yup, it's broken for me, even i have money in my Steam wallet and checked Terms of Service agreement box.

It works for some, not for others. Two of my Steam friends bought gold packs (400 & 900) without any problems, today.

I just got this game and brought along 3 regular players to continue our regular Catan nights now with social distancing in effect. Try as we might all night long, we could NOT get the game to work, to accept my attempts to buy gold (in app purchases to play, BOO!) or even figure out how to login with all the confusing dialog boxes. What a horrible interface. It was a total disaster and very disappointing. Somehow I thought that getting the official game would lead to a better experience (we tried out ioGames' "Colonist", a perfectly good free knockoff). Boy, was I wrong.

I can't buy gold, in the store I click the buy gold, accept the agreement and then nothing happens. A friend has a pop up from steam to complete the purchase, but i'm stuck after accepting the agreement

same issue here, it worked once after I did a complete rebuild of my PC but now doesn't like before... I wish Steam would work better with the developers on getting their systems to talk together better.

interesting work around - I just bought the gold on my iPhone through Apple and it went right through... I then logged onto my Steam Catan account and the new gold was there :)

I just paid for gold in the game, it brought me to Steam, I see the money in my Steam Wallet, but Catan doesn't see the gold so I can't buy anything. I've tried logging out of both accounts and logging back in, I've restarted my computer, ...I have no idea how to move the money from my wallet to the store.....
